How to enable JavaScript (Active Scripting)?

Until recently only rocket scientists could enable JavaScript (Active Scripting in Internet Explorer). Even they needed some assistance. You might also consult this page.


Internet Explorer users

1. On the menu bar click on "Tools" then "Internet Options."

Users of a non-English version: see example for positions in the menu.
2. From Internet Options, select the "Security" tab.

3. In this tab: click Custom Level.
4. Scroll down to "Scripting," make sure "Active Scripting" is set to Enable.

5. Click "OK."
6. Click "Yes" or "OK" when asked, "Are sure you wish to change the security settings for this zone."
7. Click "OK" on the Internet Properties window.

8. Reload the current page.

Mozilla FireFox users

1. On the menu bar click on "Tools" then "Options."

2. Select Content button from the top row of options.

3. Select "Enable JavaScript."
4. Click "OK"

5. Reload the current page.
